CROESO, welcome to the club!

If you're a new member please register to use the club's forum so that you can keep abreast of club news:

Your email address will be your username and you will need to set a password.
Please add your first name and surname in full as your 'display' name. Please make sure you do add your full name otherwise you may be considered a spam account and deleted.
Please keep a note of your password somewhere because even though you can stay logged in on whatever device you use, the system will occasionally log you out. The automatic password re-set does not work.
Once you register, the site moderator will check your membership status and give you access to the members' section of the forum.

Members are also advised to join our facebook page
Once you've requested to join a site moderator will check your membership status and sign you in.

If you're a parkrunner (of course you are!) remember to add the club's name to your parkrun profile.

At the Committee meeting last night (13 September) the following changes were agreed:

NEW MEMBERS FEE - we're delighted you're joining Les Croupiers RC and ask that you pay to join by cheque or cash only please. This will enable the Membership Secretary, Alan Mason, and the Treasurer, Richie Bullen, to process your membership more speedily. That way, you'll get access to this forum and to our facebook page quicker.

Payment by BACS is reserved for membership renewals only. Ideally, you'll set up a standing order for your annual renewal.

CLUB VEST - once Alan and Richie have confirmed your membership application, you can claim your free club vest. Our Chairman, John Griffin distributes these. (Previously we had a rule of having to run three races in the club's name, but this has now been dropped).

Many thanks for the information, I'm a new member (1 year) but haven't received a club vest. I have to get home pretty quick after the weekly Thursday club run due to children commitments and for similar reasons can't always get to Parkrun. Is there any other way or time I can collect?

You'll need to get the vest from John Griffin. Check with him in advance, either at the club on Thursday, or perhaps give him a call. I've already given his number on an earlier post within this thread.
