Dear Les Croupiers runners With Phil’s blessing I wish to announce that the first two races in the 2017 off road championship are the Kymin Winter Race and the Riverbank Rollick. I have just spoken with Rod who organizes this race and I am happy to confirm that it is going ahead on Saturday 7 January. The start time is 2pm and the venue is, as usual, Monmouth Boys School Sports Centre. Entry on the day only. The distance is 3.95 miles with some mud and noticeable inclines. The Riverbank Rollick is scheduled for an 11am start on Sunday 15 January, no entries on the day and the entry fee is £15. (Entries are still being taken as I write this, but enter soon, we all know that races fill quickly these days.) The venue is Thornbury, just over the bridge. The race distance is 9miles, the terrain is almost flat, but can be a touch muddy. An excellent selection of cake at the finish! Enjoy. Graeme

Not sure whether to say thankyou Graeme or thankyou Andrew? Thoroughly enjoyed both these events last year. Rather like your description of Kymin having noticeable inclines. My son is v excited about Kymin 2017, as he'll be 14 years & 9 days so old enough to run it for the first time.
