I'd like all our club members - and the rest of the world - to be aware of how many hours John puts into events/races on behalf of us all.
The time and effort he's put into the Castles Relay is phenomenal. Out of all of us, he does the most. Plus there's all the other races throughout the year, as well as the officiating, club nights and meetings. He rarely complains, he just gets it done.
He's not getting any younger but he's still shifting and lifting, driving endless miles, up early and late to bed, setting up courses and timekeeping in all weathers. He's a true hero and we're so lucky to have him.
Please show your appreciation of his efforts whenever you can. He's a true hero.

And I seem to see just as much of him at work at Velindre Cancer Centre, so he works tirelessly for us too.
