"David, Claire Jones' soon to be husband" isn't a member of Les Croups plus he thinks he shouted "go on Julie" at Tracey Newman (sorry Tracey) so for these reasons I'm not sure he deserves a place on this list!
He did however ride his bike around the course to cheer us all on at different points after riding 200 miles the day before so I'm chuffed he get's a mention for his effort. Thanks. Claire (soon to be Jarrom) Jones. x

Just so long as he wasn't ON the course Claire  - I was gobsmacked  with the number of errant cyclists (Claire Bruce & Richard Sage excepted  ) I had to deal with, including one guy, probably in his 60s/70s, who saw fit to cycle right in amongst (not behind, not ahead of, not alongside) a group of the elite ladies. My son spotted him shortly afterwards, on the crowd side of the barrier, and I went to have a Polite Word ("Sir, do you realise you've just give the the Course Manager kittens?") ...he was completely oblivious to what he'd done. I tried to politely ask a couple of cyclists to get off the course. After two of them just cycled past me, I started standing in front of them. Much more effective.

Interesting post, Karen. Amazing how "Plan Ahead", which had been posted around the roads of Cardiff for weeks, only seems to apply to the rest of the world.
