Thursday 24th March run from the Motorpoint Arena
Hi
As part of the World Half Marathon expo next Thursday we've been asked to help provide group leaders for several runs and paces that will be open to people to come along to. This will be a good opportunity to promote the club a bit more so if you can help out could you please put your name below?
The basic plan is that at 6pm Paula Radcliffe will be doing a talk and possible Q&A session, then about 6.45pm people are invited along to run with us, the runs will start at 7pm and head along Lloyd George Ave towards the Bay. I need to finalise the routes and distances but we are looking at about 50-60 mins.
If you can come along it would be good to see loads of us out, plus if you could wear club kit that would be good as well.

Copying Phil's post from Facebook for those that can't/don't access it:
The routes for tomorrow night are basically :
3 miles,
4.5 miles,
6 miles
7.5 miles.
The routes are from the Motorpoint Arena down to the Bay - they turn back at different points and then finish at the Hilton Hotel.
The plan is to be out for a max of 50-55 mins, we need to be back at the Hilton for 8pm. When you leave the Motorpoint you will be given a band that will get you into the Hilton and you will be able to collect your bags.
Between 8 and 8.30pm there will be a low key Q&A session with Paula (questions will be vetted!!!).
Could you please let me know what run you are likely to do so that I can make sure we have the routes covered.

Karen has kindly agreed to run with me.
We will be doing the 4.5 mile route.
Alan Light foot agreed to run with me too but Chadders got there first!
I am so spoilt tee hee.
All welcome to join me Chaddders, Paula and Mo for a wee jog.

Is it ok for non half-marathorners to join in tonight ? Do we need a Cardiff Half number to gain entry to Motorpoint ?

Entry to the Expo is free to the general public Rob (we've got to get in there first to collect our numbers), and anyone can join in on the run tonight.
