Many thanks to everyone who organised or helped out at this. It really was enjoyable. Thank goodness storm Imogen didn't arrive 24 hours earlier though!

I struggled today but it was made a lot easier by the support from the Marshals and other runners on the course. I think people who volunteer to stand in all winds and weathers to make events like this possible are a real credit to the club. I'm looking forward to the next one which I'm sure will be drier!

I might have got a tad excited again and crashed into some random lady at the end but no major injuries!
I managed to grab her and make sure she did not fall over as I banged into her...
Not your average finish to a run :)
Alan you need to do some serious workon your "How many seconds away from the finish line are we?"
I thought 30 seconds but it turned out to be 2 minutes LOL
A massive thank you to all that volunteered for the standing around in the lovely weather too.
What a cool, selfless bunch you are. Well done!
I would also like to say a separate thank you to our stolid photographer for snapping away like a trooper throughout the day and our very own God of the stats.
This was an excellent event to be a part of.
