WMAA is affiliated to the British Masters Athletic Association
There are numerous opportunities to use your membership e.g. 13th March 2016, British Masters Cross Country championships, Bath University in addition to WMAA Indoor Track and Field Events in January 2016.

Further details of WMAA, British Masters, European Masters and World Masters events are listed on our club calendar and the individual websites.

Our club visit to the World Masters Championships in Lyons this year was, for me, a 'fantastique' experience .

Thanks for the info, Mike. This will be particularly useful for the hordes of us going (all welcome) to the European Masters 10k, cross country or half marathon in Portugal towards the end of May. Somehow I think the cross country will be a far cry from current true cross country conditions! Feel free to express interest here if interested and probably Mike and myself will advertise further early in the New Year.

Dave, I am certainly interested in participating in the European Masters Half Marathon. Therefore can you please keep me informed of any arrangements in respect of this, to include travel etc.

Dave - yes, there will be further posts I'm sure - it is just east of Faro on the weekend of 20-22 May. Hoping the club can enter as a country! We have enough talented masters runners to do so I'm sure!

I wonder if we can finish above number 57 on the global medals table?
Yes, the class of Lyon 2015 will be a hard act to follow.
