Cool

Good evening L&Gs

In my new training efforts for my Half Marathon in March.....

I set a new PB today in the local gym, running 11 miles in 1 hour 50 minutes. My furthest distance covered for 3 years.

I used a base incline of 1% at all times and added in my own random hills via the manual incline button. Some of those hills ranged from 3% to 5% incline with a minimum incline time of 1 minute each.

I am definitely getting fitter!
Have the club to thank directly for that. :)

I was the first one running this morning at 7:25am. 8 people got on the tredmills after me and left them before me, come on Les Croupiers!!
Light weights!

However, I was slightly embarrassed when Tom the gym receptionist told me that I was sweating so much that my white shorts had gone see through....very embarrassing.tee hee.

Well done to all that went long distance running outside today. A challenging day for running. Gloria and I got totally soaked and blown sideways going through the park to the gym. It was so funny because she is only little and she was trying so hard to go forward but only going sideways LOL
Poor little sod. the life of a Guide Dog aye...

Good night one and all.

If you have got legs, use them.

I don't think Stu just puts them to shame in Tonypandy, he puts the UK to shame. His determination to succeed is inspirational not just to our club, but to every athlete that participates within our sport. It is so refreshing to hear of people succeeding in and enjoying our sport, instead of the usual drug related crap. Well done Stu and a huge "Thank You" to his helpers,

Stu, I'm sure you won't mind me sharing - but the version of that message that you sent me by text (and presumably using voice recognition) didn't say that your shorts went see through. I had to giggle (rather a lot ... perhaps too much) because the text said "you could see fruit" Cue schoolboy laughter!
