1. Agree with overall aims, objectives and layout of new forum; Thanks to Ed for setting up and Amanda for publicising.

2. Also agree that there needs to be a legal reminder, however it does rather hit you in the face. Might want to consider toning down or referring to usual t's and c's.

3. Who are the owners and operators to whom users are giving consent - are these the committee members of LCRC or an appointed sub-committee?

4. Can display name be different to user name? If so, can nickname be used?

5. Presumably country= country of residence (rather than country of birth, upbringing etc)

Thanks Gerry.

The legal reminder is just a generic part of the forum software, it wasn't written specifically for the club. I'll replace it with the message from the old forum.

The username is what you use to login and the display name is what people see when you post. They can be different. It's best to add full name to the profile or display name so we know who to give members only access to. As with the old forum it's probably best to use recognisable names so people know who's posting.

Country would probably mean residence, not really a very relevant feature for us!

A great improvement. It avoids the weird word thing and is possible to use on a mobile. It is still not perfect for mobile use, and as that is the future out is my only minor quibble. Well done.
