Hi All

I'm once again looking for help on the Cardiff Half Marathon this year, I'm looking for marshals and section leaders on the course - we are trying to improve the set up again this year.

What I'm really looking for are people who help at the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2015, and then at the World Championships in March 2016 - the CHM 2015 is the last chance to make sure everything is good for the WC 2016 and having people working the same roles that they are familiar with will help things run as smoothly as possible, especially as the WC 2016 will be going out LIVE on TV.

If you are interested can you let me know ASAP.

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil. Was cycle marshal last year, and would love to repeat that this year and next year.

Richard - you should have had an invitation via e-mail to the Arms Park for this Tuesday night re: marshalling - if you haven't I'll forward it to you tomorrow,

David.

I offered to volunteer too and also haven't heard anything. Not really impressed with the lack of communication.

Hi All - this is the e-mail that I was sent on 2nd September - I don't believe that Phil was originally in receipt of it either - there's no distribution list so I can't see who it has been sent to (and indeed whether everyone should attend anyway). Phil - are you able to shed any light on this? Failing that, perhaps the best route is for individuals to contact Naomi directly?

Hi All

Your details have been passed to me from Phil Cook. Thank you for agreeing to help at the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon 2015, on Sunday 4th October 2015, we could do it without you!

This years race is a test event for the upcoming IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships and for the first time, the Cardiff Half is also live on BBC Wales TV and as a result it is vitally important that everything runs as smoothly as possible.

There will be a full briefing for the event on Tuesday 22nd September, 6-8.30 at Cardiff Arms Park, CF10 1JA and as key members of the event delivery team it is vital that you attend. Car parking is available on site ( access is at the top of Westgate Street, where it meets Castle Street)

I look forward to meeting you all on the 22nd and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me,

Many Thanks

Naomi
