Hi Guys,
I would like to take part, but so would my wife (who runs for Pegasus) so are the senior male and female races run separetely or together?
If the former then childcare isn't an issue for us you see.
Thanks Matt

Good news Matt - the senior male and female races are run at different times. Usually the ladies race is earlier in the day and the senior men's race is scheduled as the final one of the afternoon. This means that you and your child(ren) can cheer on your wife in her race and then they can return the favour later! There are also races for younger age groups which your child(ren) can take part in once they're old enough, but they'll need to be a member of a club.
There'll be more information regarding fixtures on the Gwent League website (http://www.gwent-league.org.uk/) when we get closer to each fixture date, but you should be able to see information about previous events.
Thanks,
Paul

Matt, I wouldn't want the women running with us.. I'd be far to far ahead of Claire for that I would not want to embarrass her too much.. (I wish) Edited by user 14 September 2015 19:34:46(UTC)

Steady on, James.
Is this a statement of a short lived running career?

Hi all! Hoping to do the first Gwent on Sunday 11th. Have never raced with Croups before so wondered how I go about signing up to go/borrowing/buying a vest? Haven't done an XC in about 2 years since I ran with my University team! Helen Oliver also wanting to come too so same question for her.
Thanks!
Lee

Hi Lee There are posts on the forum and the club facebook page for both the Men's and Ladies teams, you can enter your names on either. For a Club vest you will need to see John Griffin either at the Club or parkrun.
