This is an excellent article and it is really worth each club member downloading or viewing it.
I use the cross-country season as a stamina base for the summer T&F. It is has been the simple basic ingredient of most club runner's annual training programme, since the year dot. One of the essential ingredients of success at cross-country is pace judgement,(as mentioned in the article) most club runners learn and develop this in time, until learnt though, cross country can be an unforgiving discipline.
