A few of the longer toothed athletes in the club will know a guy called Phil Adams (runs for Neath). Well currently he's lying 2nd in the Brathay 10 in 10 event (after 3 marathons) taking place around the hilly roads of Lake Windermere and I thought I'd post the event link in case anyone wanted to keep tabs on the old fella... http://www.brathaywinder...g.uk/brathay-10in10.aspx

So far Phils doing good, he's completed 8 of the 10 marathons still lying in 2nd place and is uber consistent with his marathons times ranging from 3.47-3.55! Only 2 to go and it looks like he'll smash the age category record for average marathon times across all 10 (currently about 4.20). Hard as nails!

All 10 marathons completed for Phil, 2nd place overall and first over 50 (setting a new average time record by around 40 minutes).
The guy who won (again) Adam Holland also seems a rare talent! Age 27 and hes already clocked up 154 marathons and holds the current world record for 10 consecutive marathons of 30hrs 20mins. This year his 10th and final marathon was his quickest at 2.54!
