From this Monday (5th October), we will be moving both the Monday and Tuesday club sessions to their winter locations.

Monday nights will now switch to hill sessions. We will meet on the corner of Wild Gardens Road and Lake Road East (on the grass/dirt path section of from the main pavement). Unlike previous years, all hill sessions will take place on Llandennis Avenue, as this is the only one of our 4 usual locations that allows for social distancing.

The session will start at 6:30pm, so please ensure you are at the meeting point by 6:25pm for the briefing.

For the Tuesday sessions,the meeting point and session starting point will be by the road bridge from North Road into Bute Park, opposite Corbett Road. The session will then use the new cycle/footpath that runs towards Talybont and Tesco. The reps will run in both directions on an outward and return basis.

We will continue to offer three separate paced groups on a Tuesday night, as we have over the summer.

As we are now going into winter and the nights are drawing in, it is important that you wear clothing that ensures you are visible. Luminous is okay if that’s all you have, but ideally reflective is better, and if you have lights, do use those as well.

For the Tuesday sessions, we would strongly recommend wearing either a head torch or body torch, as whilst the path is lit, there is tree cover in places which may reduce visibility of what is underfoot.
