This race was notable for many things.
We organised it, so it was brilliant of course.
The weather was perfect, which helped the record turnout of 221 finishers, and the number of volunteers in whatever capacity was wonderful.
Good to see so many from the club turning out, many commenting on the very high standard of competition.
Double whammy for Les Croupiers with decisive wins for Richard "Big Boy" Jackson-Hookins and Katie Beecher.
Performance of the day undoubtedly Ifan Lloyd from Swansea recording 28:27 at the age of 60 - putting him No:1 in the UK rankings for Over 60 at 5 miles in 2019 (he ran 63 seconds faster than at Glynneath just 3 days ago).
John Griffin walks on water (but you knew that already).
