In the February issue of Runners World, there is an interesting article on women running the same distance as men. They already do in Scotland and in some English Cross Country met in England. Some women have traveled to Scotland to compete in cross country as they want to run the same distance as men. With some women wearing run fair ribbons with are green and purple same as the suffragettes. It makes sense when you think about it/. I mean we run the same distance on other surfaces plus women have fought to be able to take part in the marathon. Despite what I may have said I would run the same distance as the men, although I might have been pulled off the course at Park Bryn Back!.
I do have two question
If women do have run the same distance as the men would that also apply to vet men?
If vet men were allowed to run a reduce distance would vet women be allowed to run the same distance? I mean you have to be fair!
I don't know what distance vet men run at other ross countries event.
