**** PLEASE READ **** A member of the Club and a regular parkrunner at Cardiff parkrun was doing a spot of parkrun tourism today, unfortunately they collapsed are and currently in hospital away from the area, contact has been made with their family but only in a roundabout manner. So please update your ICE contact details on your parkrun profile so that the correct people can be contacted if needed. Don't worry we don't have access to those details and can only find them by contacting the parkrun Support team via phone. Also think about carrying details about yourself so that the Emergency services can contact those needed, if you have the bought parkrun barcodes you can included an ICE contact number, it is also important that you carry something when ever you go out running - just incase. There are many options out there but I wear the RoadID Elite wristband and have done for about 6 years now. https://www.roadid.com/?...T2QSzEAAYAiAAEgIXBfD_BwE

Can I just add on how inportant it is to fill i the back of race numbers especially the medical information and the red cross on the front. Even taking something like the pill or HRT can effect any medication given. I remeber the Cram tags came quite popular but seem hard to get now. Medical Alrt jewerly are ideal too, both as a braclet and a neeckless. Edited by user 29 May 2018 16:04:55(UTC)

as a person who has used someone else's number in a London marathon early in my running career.
then later become seriously ill, then realise the ramifications of what might have happened previously.
now we have the technology to transfer names if you can't do an event people should play by the rules.
here is a tip. as I'm on so many medication tablets when I do events I pin my prescription on the back of my number.
