Sarah is wise to consider not going - it's a lot of time on your feet at that expo, and not much use unless you have money to spend. Takes ages on the club's buses too. Best thing at the expo is getting a copy of the ' Distance Running' magazine but that's online now.

Sarah, here’s everything you need to know and what to do.
What to do if you couldn’t attend the Expo Although we encourage everyone to register for the Virgin Money London Marathon in person we know this isn’t always possible. Here’s what you needed to do if you couldn’t attend the event:
Nominate someone to attend the Expo and collect your runner number for you. Your nominee needs to provide a letter written and signed by you, giving permission for them to collect your number. They also need to bring a copy of your identification. Sign the declaration on your registration form. When your nominee gives the form to the Registration Clerk, they check your details. Your nominee also needs to bring some identification (for example, their passport or driving license).

Sarah - as I'm sure you realise, we all have your best interest at heart. You can expend a lot of energy at the Exhibition. However, I see that you are also going to be lap counting from Tracey at the Barry Marathon. That's a lot of time out in the cold. Do you think the 6 weeks before London is a long enough time to recover?

I don't know mick, under my recent circumstances I'm behind on my training and the thought of going to the expo is causing me a lot of problems I'm actually finding even the thought of going there a stressful, I didn't give the Barry 40 a second thought Tracy has been so good to me and I enjoyed my lap counting ever so much last year I don't know what to do now lol and I most certainly know you all have my best interest at heart this really is the best running club on the planet!
