Never having done it, can someone enlighten me to this route?
So.... from Cafe Castan up Taff Trail (or through Radyr Woods?), past Castell Coch (up to the door & back?), past Forest Fawr, left at the top to the Black Cock pub ... and then where?
Many thanks.

the route to mountain ranch can be busy with traffic.. depends on when you run the route.

I mostly start from the club purely as its easier for the group I run with

Thanks James, but when I click that link I get a request to sign up to Strava (I'm not a member) and some impressive mile splits, but no map?

Hi Karen

Here's a link to the approximate route. There are a couple of variations depending on how many miles you need (e.g. starting at Café Castan, returning through Radyr Woods etc), but this is the gist of it.

Cheers m'dears...didn't make it out this morning after barely sleeping, so parkrun + 14-15 miles - that's my Saturday sorted!
