This is a new race for Octoer 2017 and part of a marathon series. Brimingham is flat so will be idea for a London time. You can get a throught train to Brinmingham New Street. Also home to the famouse Bull Ring Shopping Centre!

While you're there go for a curry. - Seriously.

As for Birmingham being flat I'm not sure - I ran the half there (ok, about 6 years ago when I didn't know what a hill was) but they made use of the underpasses of the ring roads - I certainly didn't experience it as flat! I am unsure of the marathon route just saying that the city of Birmingham has many hidden undulations!
