Hi All - long run time again on Sunday! 18 miles it is this week for a group of us going over the top of the Black Cock (I recently learned that you can only safely use phrases like that with a group of runners!). We're aiming for a negative split starting at 10 min miling and speeding up (slightly) on the second half. Current list of lunatics includes me, Jenny, Lolly and Nadine. John Payne is also easily led astray - anyone else care to join us?

Oh bugger - I have a memory like a goldfish! Will be there on Sunday, but not until just before 10 am because have commitments with boys. I throw myself on the mercy of anyone who wants to set off at a more 'Saturday night friendly' time.

Thanks to everyone in the 9.30 group for another very enjoyable long run. The rain never got heavy enough to make it really unpleasant - and, of course, the company was inspiring.
I'm sure it was the same story for the 10AM group?

Certainly was Mick - 18 miles under our belts followed by coffee and bacon roll/cake/toast - Lolly is turning into a machine and putting the rest of us to shame!

Yes, couldn't or wouldn't have done it without the company this morning. Claire Jacobs is coming on a treat as well, and well done to everyone else in the tightly knit group at 9.30 and to the 10am shift David,Jenny, Lolly and Nadine.
