The following advice is intended to keep our runners SAFE at all times! It is also essential that, whilst out running as a club, we are seen to be polite, responsible, set a good example & not put others at risk.
AT ALL TIMES:
BE SAFE BE SEEN! You can never be too visible! During the day, always wear bright or light-coloured clothing - fluorescent is good. At night we would strongly recommend that people ALWAYS wear light-coloured clothing plus a REFLECTIVE (not just fluorescent) bib or sash. Clip on flashers are a great way to be seen. NEVER ASSUME YOU'VE BEEN SEEN. Always be cautious with traffic. We would like to remind people that they are responsible for their own safety and that they run at their own risk.

great List phil,
thanks.
As a note of caution all.. i have a heat torch.. which i've now found out only lasts 60 mins on battery.. really awkward when running up to castle coch at 630 am trying to keep up with Matt Pryor (mr mountain Goat !).. so with a heat torch go with one recommend by others.. to be fair its an older one and the battery (Rechargeable one..) maybe on its way out.. never the less a pain in the am..

Thanks James, my experience is that you actually need quality batteries, either high power rechargeable 1700 rating or Duracell etc. Also you are better spending a bit more on the head torch, I bought a cheap one and it wasn't good to run in, my current one I paid £35 for, originally bought for when I was course measuring on the bike but is also good on the run - had it on tonight.

I have a Silva trail runner 2. Battery pack sits on the back of the head which at first glance I wasn't sure about, but it actually keeps it very balanced & is extremely comfortable (& bright....luckily it has a dim beam!)
Will bring along next week.
