I would just like to say thankyou to all the volunteers ( and especially to Paul for allowing me to stand under his brolly) who braved the rain this morining to put on park run. Over 400 runners including many children turned up to run this morining. We're either mad or very devoted to our sport. Lookig forward to cross country.

Yes you are both mad and devoted to the sport.
Nothing wrong with that though, most people just stay indoors and complain about the weather.
When I went out at lunchtime it was twelve degrees - still vest and shorts weather. The fact that most people are out in thick coats is because they're not moving fast enough to keep warm!
