Ladies and Gents,I have just become available for Monday.. I see the Gilwern Grunt is on Monday. After completing Offas Orror I am in the mood for some more off road fun.

Is the Grunt suitable for someone who is capable of finishing the Orror and I presume navigation skills would not be needed (?).

Answers on a postcard.. or preferably in reply to this post!

 Cheers
 Marcus.

                Hi Marcus
Info below taken off the flyer for the event - you should be fine doing the event - sounds similar to Offas Orror.

The Spectacular Gilwern Grunt - Monday 21 April 16km/670m 10mls/2200ft Cat BM PM 11am Monday 21st April
Brynmawr Foundation School, Brynmawr, Abergavenny. Grid Ref SO197125

 EOD £12

This is the most spectacular and varied multi-terrain in Wales. Very little tarmac. Fully marked and marshalled.

Comprising, open fell side, mountain, woodland, single track, fields, mine workings, marshland. There is a stiff climb (“The Grunt”) and some interesting descents.

There are some spectacular running situations you will not forget in a hurry.

Most definitely not your average multi-terrain.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A WFRA INSURED RACE. Kit requirements at the Organisers discretion.
