The last date to register for the 2013 Lloyds TSB Cardiff Half Marathon will be Friday 13th September.

Over 17,000 runners have already signed up for Britain’s 2nd largest Half Marathon race , which is on target to achieve a record amount of entrants.

Speaking about the current figures Race Director Steve Brace said “ We are delighted that the Lloyds TSB Cardiff Half Marathon continues to be one of the most popular races in the Autumn running calendar. The growth is not only good for the event itself but for Wales.”

"Last year over 40,000 spectators lined the streets to cheer on the runners and we are expecting even more this year. The race has definitely secured its place as one of Cardiff’s biggest annual events.”

The race will take place on Sunday 6th October and incorporates an iconic course around Wales’ capital city.
