Hi Everyone - info received recently via the forum:
You may of heard of a fantastic event that is happening this June called the GB Relay 2014.
It's a relay around the coastline of Great Britain that will be run continuously passing a baton from one runner to the next for over 7000 kilometers divided into 594 stages. The baton will not only record the gps journey but will also record a photographic journey too.
This relay is a Guinness World Record attempt and we would love it if some or all of your club members would join us in making a piece of sporting history.They can take up individual stages or run as a team, run for the fun of it or use it to fund raise for a charity of their choice. It's entirely up to them. All we ask is that each runner is able to run an average pace of 10 kilometers per hour by June.
