The venue has just been announced for this year's RAB - details here - and its a cracker.. Lake District, the race HQ/start Newlands Adventure Centre, Stair, Keswick - so we'll be heading to the W of Borrowdale I guess, and the scene of the blustery (140 mph) 2008 "thousands of runners missing" OMM Entries are still being taken (£52, including two nights free 'accommodation') - I also have a spare lw tent if any one wants to borrow one This is also one of the few MMs that you can do solo - so you get to snore in peace, and don't have to share your cake with a race partner

Have a good w/e Tim and hope all goes well. I will be flying up to Inverness for the Loch Ness marathon the same w/e.
