Message for Croups Committee (and the web sub-committee?) who have been discussing Matt Townsend and I met last night in Tiny Rebel (the best place for such things) and transferred ownership of the club's web site domain name from his name to mine. I then extended the registration of http://www.lescroupiersrunningclub.org.uk/ for another five years (cost £50 - a bargain..) as the website was about to fall of its perch (irretrievably?). Gives us a bit more time to decide what happens next with the web site :@) Matt's been looking after this for ages (thanks Matt..). At least since 2008, the year when he beat Sonia O'Sullivan on Stage 13 of the Castles. Surprised no one's mentioned this before?  Edited by user 06 June 2018 14:43:41(UTC)

Well I never new that, Matt Townsend beating Sonia O’Sullivan,
is that the same Sonia O'Sullivan the Irish former track and field athlete. Who won a gold medal in the 5000 metres at the 1995 World Championships, and a silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2000 Olympic Games ? Funny how no one’s mentioned that before 🤔
