Hope to see you on the regular training route tomorrow morning.
Of course, it can be tricky to combine training with being an armchair athlete, particularly after such a sensational start to the championships last night.
Tonight sees the ladies 10000 metres at 8.10, featuring Carmen-Patricia Martinez running for Paraguay. Carmen joined Les Croupiers last year after running the World Championships Half Marathon in Cardiff. Her best 10000 was at the Highgate Night of Endurance on 21 May with 34:04.02, which is also the National Record.
Tomorrow is marathon day, with the men starting at 10.55 and the ladies at 14:00, both races stating and finishing on Tower Bridge, with a four lap spectator-friendly course run mostly up and down the Embankment.

Couldn't make it today, working. Should only be 1 in 6 though, barring sickies, races etc. Smile

A little update on what I posted on Saturday.
Carmen Martinez, despite starting in an incredibly loaded field for the 10000 metres - starting in last position and was the final finisher - achieved an amazing performance.
She demolished her own national record by more than 45 seconds and ran splits of 16:38.95 and 16:39.27 for a final time of 33:18.22. Impressive, eh?
