I know some of you know about this already, but for those that don't, for his last marathon, Ben Smith of the 401 Challenge is encouraging people to join him in a virtual marathon. You can do it any day from 2nd-9th October, and can choose from 10K, half or full marathon distance. It costs £26.20 whichever distance you choose, 90% of which goes to the charities. A few of us are thinking of doing this on the 9th October - probably meeting at Cafe Castan at 9.30 as usual, and running the CPR half route (twice for those that want to do the full). Ooh I'd be up for that. Had booked Weds 5th off work to do the last marsthon in Bristol, but I'm concerned he may be overrun with runners. Are you planning on doing it in true 401 style - slow pace with relaxed Cafe stop between halves?

Yes, that's the plan Karen, nice easy pace with a stop half way - I meant to say that in my post but forgot!
That would be great if you get to run with him in Bristol too!
