I have just come across this race which takes place in June. I don't know what the entry fee is but you get 50% of your fee back if you drop out. It also qualifies as good for age for London. The medals are unique as they are designed by local school children. I believe there is also a half. Yeovil is not that far either, just past Bristal in Somerset, you get off the train there to go Butilns in Minhead.
