A successful day for four of our club members at this indoor meeting. Not only were spectators given a treat by the up and coming youngsters but also a master class by the more mature athletes.

A fabulous event with all ages sharing the enjoyment of competition.

Congratulations once again to Mel James for his significant involvement in ensuring the afternoons event appeared seamless.

Nearly forgot (It comes to us all).

Thanks also for the support from our prospective participants in the summer Masters' Series, Mr and Mrs Davey and Geoff Wright. Their encouragement down the finishing straight was a real boost.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the National Centre, and to see Mel, Mal, Mike and Brian run so well was terrific. I've been inspired to train for the over 70 age group in four and a half year's time!
