Good luck to all members representing Wales at Solihull on Sunday, 20th July.
Unfortunately, I do not know the details of all our female members taking part but the men include:
M70 Mel James (400m, 200m, 4 x 100 Relay), Mal Farnham ( Shot Putt)
M60 Elio Lepore (1500m, 4 x 100m Relay, Long Jump), Mike Davies (800m)

Conditions were not conducive with fast times or distances -hot and humid but the Welsh teams came third in both male and female competitions and third overall.
Congratulations to club members - Eirian Arwyn, Sarah-Lynn Thompson, Elio Lepore, Mel James, Mal Farnham and Mike Davies. The standard of competition was high and the results will be posted soon but one lasting image was Elio Lepore, leading the towering David Oxland for three and a half laps in the 3000m.
Congratulations also to Sarah-Lynn for gaining her first international vest in the 2000m walk and the 4 x 100m relay. A big thanks also to Mel James for leading the men's team and organising the day (and competing).
