Due to the logistics of timing multiple smaller races with the start and finish areas so far away from each other I am moving the 1 mile race to the Bannister Miles Course, near the ambulance station on Blackweir fields.
**************************************************We will be running the Cardiff Summer Series as LCRC only events this year. Those of you that took part in Fridays Bannister Miles will be pleased to hear that the first race is another 1 mile hurl fest! Once again we will be allowing both live and virtual entries. Only live entries need use the Eventbrite links below. All virtual entries just need to send their completed runs via email to lcrcrunevents@gmail.comThe races will all start at Blackweir Bridge on the Pontcanna Fields side and follow the river path down to the wall for the cricket ground. Turn right onto the newly tarmacced path running alongside the wall and then turn right onto the spine road. You will then run down the spine road to the finish. We have limited entries to 45 for the 1 mile and 60 for the rest but will consider whether we can raise this depending on popularity. A massive thank you to you Marcus and all the volunteers who turned out last night for the 1 mile race. It was SO nice to be back racing against other people and to see everyone who turned out. And a big hello to those who were marshalling and supporting on the course - I wasn't really up to saying hello back to you when I was running!
