Please see attached the full "Ideal Course" we would prefer you to run for the 10 mile race.
However, if you cannot make it to the course due to restrictions or your concerns about Covid then you are able to either:
1- Run a course local to you. Make sure it is an out and back or a loop, with the start and finish close together to minimise elevation gain / loss.
2- Use the official course but start it anywhere on the route. IE, perhaps start at the 5 mile point and run the course in reverse.

Route explanation:
The LCRC 10 mile Virtual course starts and finishes in the same place,
start of the Spine Road (Western Avenue end)
when you get to the end of the allotments on the right hand side, take the path to the right
triangle, head towards the hole in the wal
wall turn left and follow the path, up the slope and back onto the Spine Road.
Spine Road and then turn left on to the cross p
turn right and follow the river path until you reach the Millennium Bridge.
Bridge and keep to the river path (opposite direction to parkrun), at the cross roads turn left and
follow the Taff Trail past Blackweir Bridge and the parkrun start/finish, under the A48 Western
Avenue, keep following the path past Llandaff Weir and through the underpass,
Haley Park playing fields turn left and around the back of the changing rooms, at the gate turn
right and run past the small car park
the way back to the junction of the cross path and the
and run straight down the Spine Road to finish at the large gate posts (the start point).
