Any (sensible) advice welcome. I find it a real struggle to eat after I have run, especially if it is a hard run. I just can't face any food but then feel sick and weak because I haven't eaten. Can anyone suggest some way around this? Thanks

1/2 litre of Nesquick works for me. Chocolate in the winter, strawberry in the summer ThumpUp

For one that dreams of food on all my runs, I'm probably the worst person that could give you advice on this one! I generally go for peanuts and/or peanut butter (of course) on rivita crackers straight after. Keeps me ticking over to dinner. After my long runs on the weekend I'd normally have a banana and a milky drink like cappuccino or something. Most protein drinks are too sweet for me but the brand 'Pulsin' are quite good (the chocolate pea protein ones are good). Hope you find something the agrees with you.

After a tough run I find hot chocolate works well, and then wait an hour or so before having any proper food.
