Are these shown anywhere? I tried to stay with one on Saturday, only to see her disappearing into the distance within minutes. I finished in 28 minutes, my target time, so I should have been able to stay with her for more than 50 m!
I didn't appear in the results, although my registration number was scanned. Is it possible to get my time? I've sent an email to the local office, but haven't had a reply yet.
Thanks

Hi Phil, is this in relation to parkrun? If yes, then it works the same for pacemakers as it does for anyone else taking part. Finish, take the position token, get scanned in with barcode and position. On the results they won't be identified as 'pacemakers' but will be listed under their names. I presume you emailed details to cardiffoffice@parkrun.com - many emails get sent every week and results are amended if and when it's possible, but as there are no paid staff it takes time.

Hi Phil Sorry you weren't credited with a time at parkrun last Saturday. However, judging from your previous parkrun results, you're going in the right direction with every performance. I'm really writing to speak up for the pacers last weekend. They all had professionally made numbers with their predicted times and their names clearly marked. They were all from Seriously Mad Runners which means this wasn't their own course yet they were volunteering and providing a valuable service. Their names are also listed in the Volunteers at the foot of the results page so it is possible to identify them. For example, David Brown was pacing for 21, which he did, Caroline Bassett was pacing for 23, which she did, Julie Broughton was pacing for 29, which she did. I think they did a great job, but then coming from Barry, I wouldn't expect any less.

Hi Mick, Please ignore my comments. A temporary blip on my part. I forgot to stop my watch at the finish - so it was my fault I don't know my time - must be my age. Or proof that men can't multi-task - sprinting and pressing a watch button. We really are lucky to have such an event available each week, free of charge and with so many volunteers.
