I've received a message from Liz Kirwan's parents which they have asked me to share:

It was lovely to meet up with you all on Friday night, it was an emotional evening for Sian and myself but with the help from John, Clare and yourselves we got through it. We are sure Liz was watching and would have approved of the first winner of her cup, Carys Hughes.

Also Liz's parents attended the opening of a new family room in the Princess of Wales hospital this week which was funded from their half marathon fundraising achievements (about £10,000) for 2 wish upon a star. An amazing effort.
